BIENAL PERFORMANCE 2015

“Los contempladores” consisted on a tour of approximately two hours and a half for different places in Buenos Aires. They were chosen under the judgment of “oceanic feeling”, concept that describes the loss of the intimate body that, before the experience of immensity, erases its own limits in order to became a whole thing. Each person that took part of the tour was guided by headphones. The work offered them the possibility of transporting their own point of view, choosing at all time from where to observe the space and how connect with the poetics of the immensity and the intimate thing. To Szeinblum the immensity provokes an impression that appeals first to the body and then to the mind, process that will lead the spectator directly to the instance of the contemplation.
