Clota and Stella are mother and daughter. They live alone in an old family house, corseted in an endogamous routine.
One day, Stella receives news: her father has died and two small apartments in a small town beach are hers to inherit.
Stella decides to start a journey to find out about this miracle that is presented as a new and last chance to become independent, but Clota perceives that as a terrifying surgical separation.
